Acting Deputy District Ranger Michael Joyce has signed a Decision Memo for the Eastside Permanent Opening Project. The proposed action will allow for the maintenance of openings to benefit wildlife habitat and fuels management. Activities could begin as early as 2008 and would occur on approximately 200-500 acres annually. The project is located in Chippewa and Mackinac Counties
