District Ranger Teresa Chase is accepting comments on the Grand Island Vehicle Tour Storage Project. The project will analyze the construction of a tour vehicle garage and storage building on the south end of Grand Island National Recreation Area near Williams Landing. The project also includes relocating FS parking and storage area and islander parking away from the current location approximately 600 feet north of the barge dock to more suitable locations. The project is located in Alger County, Michigan.
