Round Robin Trail
| From the Lefferts Pond parking lot, the trail passes views of Chittenden Reservoir and Lefferts Pond as it crosses over the dam and a bridge over a spillway. The trail climbs for a short distance to the intersection with the Lefferts Pond Trail. The Round Robin trail continues to the left, and goes north on the east side of Chittenden Reservoir to Forest Road 99 at 4.9 miles. The trail is wide and gently rolling through the woods. Lefferts Pond Trail

There is a loop opportunity around Lefferts Pond by connecting the Round Robin Trail, Lefferts Pond Trail, and a section of Wildcat Rd. Leaving Lefferts Pond parking lot, follow the Round Robin trail to the intersection with the Lefferts Pond Trail, and turn right. The trail is wide with gradual ascents and descents to the intersection with Wildcat Rd. Turn right on Wildcat Rd. to return to the parking area at 2.9 miles. The trail is wide and gently rolling through the woods. Max. elevation change is 200 feet. Average hike time is 1 ½ - 2 hours. |

From Rutland, follow Route 7 north, past a stoplight outside of town. Bear right onto East Pittsford Rd., and follow it. East Pittsford Rd. turns into Chittenden Rd. at 3.3 miles. Continue for 2.7 miles on Chittenden Rd. to a three-way junction. Bear right onto Dam Road, and follow it for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Wildcat Road (unmarked), and follow it for 0.9 miles. Turn left onto a dirt road, and follow it for 0.5 miles to the parking lot at the end.
