The projects listed on this page include those that implement the GMNF 2006 Forest Plan.  These projects require project level decisions based on site-specific environmental analysis in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Many of these documents, particularly the maps, are very large. You may wish to right-click selected items and "save as" directly to your hard drive.

A project designated "All Units" generally applies forest-wide to all the districts of the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont. The Hector Ranger District refers to the Finger Lakes National Forest in New York. Both forests are administered out of one central office in Rutland, Vermont.
