Game Fish Present: Primarily Brook trout and Bullhead
Description: Branch Pond is a 35-acre lake that is spring fed and also fed by small streams. The elevation of the lake is about 2620 feet and Branch Pond has a depth of about 37 feet.
Gear Suggestions:
Fly-fishing, spinners and bait fishing are allowed on the pond. No motorized craft are allowed on Branch Pond.Season and Restrictions: For a complete description of fishing regulations and license fees, visit the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department web site.
Access: From East Kansas Hamlet in Arlington, Vermont take the Kelly Stand Road, Forest Highway 6, east about 6.5 miles to the junction with Forest Road 70. At the junction turn left and continue north on Forest Road 70 about 2.5 miles to a parking lot at the end of the road. There is a small boat launch for non-motorized craft.

Camping: The Forest Service allows primitive camping near Branch Pond. There are several suggestions and restrictions to camping and it is recommended that you contact the Manchester Ranger District or visit the Green Mountain National Forest web site before camping at Branch Pond.
