Winter - Ski Area Management

National Forests throughout the United States, provide settings for the majority of alpine recreation facilities in the United States which are available and used by the American and International publics. The USDA Forest Service is a world-wide conservation leader with the responsibility to increase public appreciation and knowledge of the natural environment and its value in providing alpine recreational opportunities.

The Green Mountain National Forest currently administers three alpine ski areas, Bromley, Mount Snow and Sugarbush, as well as several nordic ski touring areas that all operate on the Forest under special use permits. For more information on the specific ski areas, please visit their respective websites below.
