Chippewa National Forest
The USDA Forest Service implements a wide variety of management activities across the Forest. Prior to carrying out these projects, an intensive analysis process guided by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is completed. The following project documents represent a small portion of the projects being analyzed for possible implementation. If the project your interested in is not listed below check the Chippewa Quarterly for more information. Comments can be sent to r9_chippewa_public@fs.fed.us

When calculating the 45th day, the day after the legal ad is published is the first day of the appeal filing period. Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays are included in computing the appeal time period. However, when the filing period would end on a Saturday, Sunday, or Federal holiday, the filing time is extended to the end of the next Federal working day.
