“The Weeks Act – Celebrating 100 Years of National Forests in the East" Sponsored by NFs in North Carolina and Cherokee NF. This event will be the first of a two part lecture series the Southern Region is sponsoring the celebrate our historic accomplishment under the Weeks Act and demontsrate continued significance of our national forests throughout the South. The events will include: reception, exhibits from partners, comments from regionally known speakers, and award ceremony by the regional forester.
