Shooting Ranges

Eleven shooting ranges are open to the public from sunup to sundown. These ranges provide recreational opportunities and target practice shooting. Most of the ranges have 25-, 50- , and 100-yard target lines and six shooting benches. Some include covered benches and trap throwers. For specific information contact the district ranger's office. Regulations are posted at each range.

Caddo Ranger District:  Glenwood, AR

Pigeon Roost Shooting Range
From Glenwood, go northeast on Highway70 for 4.1 mi, turn left (north) on county road 35 for 1.1 mi, turn right (east) on county road 27 for 0.4 mi, take left fork (northeast) on county road 248 for 0.5 mi, left on Forest Service road C27A for 0.7 mi
