Calcasieu Ranger District's Evangeline Unit

Visitors to the Calcasieu Ranger District's Evangeline Unit can enjoy a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Biking, hiking, picnicking, camping, swimming, boating, water skiing, hunting and group get togethers are just some of the many activities available at the Kincaid Lake and Valentine Lake Recreational Areas. The District is divided into two land areas called "units", the Evangeline Unit, and the Vernon Unit.

Visitors to the Calcasieu Ranger District's Vernon Unit can enjoy a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Biking, hiking, picnicking, camping, fishing, hunting and group get togethers are just some of the many activities available at the Fullerton Lake, Little Cypress, and Government Pond Areas. The District is divided into two land areas called "units", the Evangeline Unit, and the Vernon Unit.
