     The Beaver Dam Campground is situated on the shore of Upper Caney Lake within the Caney Lakes Recreation Complex. Beaver Dam Campground has a beautifully peaceful setting within the forest, lake, and hills area. The Sugar Cane National Recreation Trail passes right next to the campground with an adjoining spur.

     Visitors to the Beaver Dam campground inside the Caney Lakes Recreation Complex can enjoy a wide range of outdoor opportunities including camping, swimming, picnicking, boating, water skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. Beaver Dam Campground is a modern facility in a quiet setting at the Upper Caney Lake shoreline nestled in a large pine and mixed hardwood forest.

     Facilities: Beaver Dam is a modern campground with water, showers, electricity, showers, paved trailer pads, and a remote dump station for RV's.

Directions: From Minden, take Louisiana Hwy 159 north to Webster Parish Road 111. Turn left (west) on WPR 111 and go 2 miles. The recreation area entrance is signed and the fee station is just inside the entrance. Take your first left and go to the end of the road to the entrance of Beaver Dam Campground.
