Annual Big Cypress Swamp Tromp Work Party, March 13-19

The Florida Trail Association's F-Troop (www.f-troop.org) is hosting an annual Swamp Tromp Work Party at the Big Cypress National Preserve on March 13-19 and is looking for volunteers to participate in this adventure. The work entails getting to those hard to reach sections of the Florida Trail deep in the heart of the Big Cypress and to focus on the orange blazed trails. This year's base camp of operations is a little unique such that volunteers will be transported by swamp buggy to a primitive camp which will be set up on the trail. Please be prepared for the conditions as the environment may be wet, a little cold and dirty.
