Redbird Ranger District Trails

These trails are located on Redbird Ranger District. Please remember that SOME of these trails are multiple-use, open to horseback riding, mountain biking and OHVing, in addition to hikers and backpackers.

A special recreation pass is required for motorized vehicles under 50 inches to use this trail.

For information on purchasing a pass contact the Redbird Ranger Station at (606) 598-2192. These passes can also be purchased from participating vendors near the Redbird Crest Trail. The OHV passes will also be honored at the White Sulphur OHV Trail on the Cumberland district. The following types of permits are available:

1-DAY PASS - $7.00
Valid until noon the day after purchase. Band must be worn on operator's wrist or attached to handle bar of ATV to be valid.

3-DAY PASS - $15.00
Valid until noon the 4th day from purchase. Band must be worn on operator's wrist or attached to handle bar of ATV to be valid.

ANNUAL PASS - $40.00
Valid January 1 - December 31. The sticker must be affixed to left rear of ATV to be valid.
