Redbird district ranger accepts new position in South DakotaFor Immediate Release Contact: Kimberly Morgan WINCHESTER, Ky., January 12, 2010 – John Kinney, district ranger on the Redbird Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, recently accepted a new position with the U.S. Forest Service in South Dakota. Kinney will serve as district ranger on the Wall Ranger District of the Buffalo Gap National Grassland. He reports to his new duty station on March 28. “I have enjoyed the past three years working and living in southern and eastern Kentucky,” said Kinney. “I will especially miss all of the wonderful people that I have worked with and the friends that I have made in the Redbird community. "My wife Karla and I are excited about our new adventure, and we leave Kentucky with nothing but fond memories. I hope to return and visit again soon.” # |
