Gladie Center is open 9am - 5:30pm 7 days/week from mid-March to mid-November. Beginning Monday, November 7, 2011 the Gladie Center will be open Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm. The Center will be closed on all federal holidays, November 25 and December 23 - January 2. Please call ahead before visiting during the winter as the Center may be closed due to power outages or poor road conditions.

Prospectus for Campground Concessions:

The Daniel Boone National Forest is pleased to announce the availability of a Prospectus for a special use permit for the operation and maintenance of campgrounds on the Cumberland Ranger District. The campgrounds being offered in this Prospectus are located around Cave Run Lake and the Red River Gorge in eastern Kentucky.
This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession campground special use permit. A permit will be issued to authorize use of National Forest System (NFS) lands and facilities in providing high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities.


The authorized officer for this business opportunity is the Forest Supervisor for the Daniel Boone National Forest, 1700 Bypass Road, Winchester, Kentucky 40391.
