Evacuation Plan Examples for Responders

In the case of hurricanes, it is always best to plan ahead.  This is particularly important when deployed for hurricane disaster recovery.  At any time during your response another storm may threaten the area where response and recovery operations are underway. In this situation rescuers are particularly vulnerable because of prior communication and transportation damage and subsequent impacts to our ability to communicate the threat and evacuate citizens and rescuers.

An example of a base evacuation plan (for a hurricane responder base camp) is attached.
