COOP Plan
Overview
During an emergency, it is critical that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service (FS) perform, or rapidly and efficiently resume, certain key operations. While the impact of an emergency cannot be predicted, planning for operations under certain conditions can mitigate the impact of the emergency on our people, facilities, and mission.
Each FS office will create a Supplementary Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan, which will be attached to this document. These plans and the FS WO COOP Plan will be important resources for ensuring that the Agency can continue to perform essential operations.
