LOCATION: 26 miles southeast of Oakridge on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River

ACCESS: From Oakridge, follow Hwy 58 east for 2 miles to Kitson Springs Road. Continue on Kitson Springs Road for 0.5 miles to FS Road 21. Proceed on FS Road 21 for 24 miles to the Sacandaga Campground.

DESCRIPTION & ATTRACTIONS: Sacandaga Campground is located along the Middle Fork of the Willamette River where a segment of the historic Oregon Central Military Wagon Road can be seen. The Willamette River is accessible by two trails from the campground. There is also a short trail leading to a viewpoint with a bench for a short break. A visitor can visit Sacandaga Campground and enjoy solitude as the use is very low and the campsites are well separated by vegetation. The Middle Fork Trail is in close proximity.
