DETROIT RANGER DISTRICT RECREATION UPDATE ** Be aware that the condition of recreation trails during the fall and winter can change dramatically without warning; large wind, snow and rain events can have substantial and detrimental effects on trail conditions causing hazards and obstructions to travel** Conditions cited below are the last known conditions; call Detroit Ranger Station at (503)854-3366 for more details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *SPECIAL NOTIFICATION* Date: 8-25-09 Subject: Marion Lake Outlet Bridge Construction PLEASE AVOID USING THE MARION LAKE OUTLET TRAIL(#3495) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE IF YOU ARE ABLE. THERE WILL BE A PACK STRING HAULING SUPPLIES TO THE CONSTRUCTION SITE IN THE FOLLOWING WEEKS. IF YOU SHOULD ENCOUNTER A PACK STRING WHILE IN THE AREA PLEASE GIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THE PACK STRING. STEP TO THE DOWNHILL SIDE OF THE TRAIL TO LET PACK STOCK PASS.
