You may not have Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer and/or may not have the latest version of Acrobat Reader -- sometimes older versions may not open new acrobat files (see the link at the top of map page on how to get the latest version of reader). Also, some computers/web browsers may have trouble loading acrobat files into the web browser window. One way to work around this is to do a right-click on the link and select "save target as" or "save file as" and save the file to your computer and then go to Acrobat Reader and open it. Also, you must be patient waiting for the maps to download. Since there is no hourglass or progress bar on Acrobat downloads, it might appear sometimes that the computer has stalled or is not doing anything -- especially on a phone line / modem -- it can take awhile, even on the individual maps. So give it a little time...
