Pacific Northwest Region (R6).

Noxious weeds don’t recognize administrative boundaries. We cooperate with other public and private organizations who are also committed to reducing the impacts of noxious weeds. National Forests rely on their assistance and resources to effectively and efficiently respond to noxious weeds. Visitors to this website can further link to a variety of websites of cooperators and scientific organizations that are supportive and informative to our National Forest programs.

• Tree of Heaven - Just when you think it's gone, the root regrows and sends up shoots. (wear rubber gloves-or you'll be washing your hands desprately trying to remove the smell and the slimy (blister producing) sap)
• Scotch Thistle - Admit it, we all have this somewhere in the garden as it grows in dead-zone areas. At least remove and dispose of the flowers before they go to seed.
