MS-PowerPoint Graphics

90_97_sfk_lbutte.ppt is a PowerPoint file which contains four graphics derived from a GIS theme in ArcView.  Stream survey data was analyzed before and after a 25-year flood on New Year’s Day 1997 and habitat changes noted.  This file may be downloaded as a MS-PowerPoint file from the GIS Tools page.

The first graphic shows the approximate change in the channel meanders.

The second graphic shows the change in position of pools and riffles from before the flood to after the flood.  Note that the pre-flood survey included glides, which were dropped from the Level 2 survey protocol in 1996.

The third graphic shows a comparison of stream habitat units and the location of wood pieces before and after the flood.

The fourth graphic shows wood complex locations without habitat unit locations, before and after the flood of 1997.

These are ArcView files that were exported as metafiles into PowerPoint.  The original ArcView files were created similarly to the examples shown for Steve Fork Carberry Creek and the Test Reach.
