Attractions and Considerations: Hobo Camp is a small, road-side camp located along road
#2470, on a terrace above Brice Creek. A short trail leads to a beautiful
cascading pool in Brice Creek. Hobo is primarily used by day use swimmers
and picnickers although people frequently stay the night.
The site offers flat ground for 2-4 trailers and/or RV's.
Amount of Use: Light, moderate to heavy on weekends and holidays.
Directions: From Cottage Grove Exit 174 on Interstate 5, take Row River
Road #2400 east 19 miles to Brice Creek road #2470 (2149).
Turn right (southeast) on County Road #2470 and continue for
7 1/2 miles along Brice Creek. Hobo Camp is located on both
sides of the road, south of Brice Creek.

Season of Use: May 25 to September 30. Site remains open in winter with reduced services.
Camp Host: No
Activities: Activities include picnicking, swimming, fishing, and hiking
on the nearby Adams Mountain Way Trail (1/2 mile west of Hobo
on the south side of Road #2470). The Hobo Camp area is withdrawn
from mineral location although recreational gold panning is
allowed.
