  • Oregon State University Extension Service. Submission of samples can be done by filling out a form that can be obtained by visiting the Plant Clinic website and mailing to OSU. Forms can also be picked up at the Umatilla N.F. Supervisor's Office in Pendleton, OR. The clinic does charge a fee for physical samples submitted for plant diseases, and costs will vary depending on the tests performed. There are no charges for insect samples or images of diseases that are submitted.

HISTORICAL REFERENCE DOCUMENTS

The Umatilla National Forest silviculture library includes an archives containing a variety of historical reference materials. Many of these reports, maps, and photographs pertain to the entire Blue Mountains, not just the Umatilla National Forest portion as national forest boundaries changed over time. These materials are gradually being converted to an electronic format, many of which are now available on this web site.
