Cape Perpetua Campground
Location: North of Florence, Oregon off highway 101 Access: From Florence, Oregon drive 22 miles North on highway 101. Campground found beside highway located in the Cape Perpetua Scenic area. Nearby: Elevation: Sea level Use: Heavy. Busy during peak summer holidays. Season: Open May – Sept. Fees (per site per night): Yes # of Sites: 38 tent, auto, and trailer; 1 group site Facilities: Piped drinking water, flush toilets, fire rings, tables. (Group area and several other sites available by reservation. See reservation information below). Activities: Camping, picnicking, hiking, sightseeing, visitor center. Description & Attractions: Cape Perpetua campground is found within the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. Within old growth costal spruce, Douglas fir and western hemlock this campground has numerous opportunities. Hiking trails that lead to the Giant Spruce, Cape Visitor Center, tidepools, and St. Perpetua (“one of the Best views on the Oregon Coast”) can also be accessed from the campgrounds.
