Cape Perpetua Visitor Center

Hours:

10 am to 5:30 pm daily through September 19
10 am to 4 pm beginning Sunday, September 20.
The center will stay open until 5:30 on Saturdays until October 10th, when closing hours will shift to 4 p.m. every day.

The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center has a phenomenal view of the ocean from inside and from the deck. A variety of short movies are shown in the theatre, and Center staff can answer questions and help you plan your trip.

A Northwest Interpretive Association bookstore sells books, postcards, walking sticks and locally made jewelry.

Fall Birds & Mushrooms

Cape Perpetua staff is gearing up for the fall bird migrations and mushrooming season.

Visitors can find an assortment of bird and mushroom books in the Visitor Center bookstore.

Movies are shown daily on the hour, and interpretive programs or guided hikes are offered on the half hour.

Visitors to the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area will need to have a valid recreation pass. Visitors can purchase passes at the Visitor Center, Devil’s Churn, or use the self-service fee stations in the parking lots.
