Cape Perpetua Visitor Center

Hours:

10 am to 5:30 pm daily through September 19
10 am to 4 pm beginning Sunday, September 20.
The center will stay open until 5:30 on Saturdays until October 10th, when closing hours will shift to 4 p.m. every day.

The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center has a phenomenal view of the ocean from inside and from the deck. A variety of short movies are shown in the theatre, and Center staff can answer questions and help you plan your trip.

A Northwest Interpretive Association bookstore sells books, postcards, walking sticks and locally made jewelry.

Please note: the visitor center will be closed December 24-25 and January 1.

Winter Whale Watch Week at the Cape ~ December 26 - 31

Visitor Center will be open all week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Whale watch volunteers will also be posted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the top of Cape Perpetua.

Winter Whale Watch runs from December 26 to January 1.
The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center is closed on January 1.

Visitors to the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area will need to have a valid recreation pass. Visitors can purchase passes at the Visitor Center, Devil’s Churn, or use the self-service fee stations in the parking lots.
