Winchester Bay/Umpqua Dunes ~ Located south of Winchester Bay, this riding area is home to the tallest sand dunes in the Oregon Dunes NRA. The area is accessed from Umpqua Beach #2 Parking lot, and Umpqua Beach #3 Day Use. A ride to the top of a tall dune offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. The beach is closed to OHV travel year round. Other Campgrounds available in this area are Discovery Point, Salmon Harbor Resort, and Windy Cove. Two private rental companies, Dunes Odyssey and Dune Buggy Adventures, which furnish ATV rentals or tours.

	Note: Shelter at Umpqua Beach # 3 is closed until repairs are completed
