Klahowya Campground

Campgrounds

Olympic National Forest offers a wide variety of camping experiences and settings. Hike-in and boat-in sites are available as well as traditional vehicle camprounds. Camp next to a peaceful lake, a rushing stream or in a dense conifer forest. Camp in the Olympic rain forest or hike to a beautiful backcountry lake.

All campgrounds in the Forest are on a first-come-first-serve basis with overnight fees ranging from $5 to $18. Most sites have tables, cooking grills, drinking water, toilets and offer recreational activities such as swimming, boating and nature trails. Garbage service is not always available.

Please accept the challenge...
Campgrounds are expensive to maintain. Please accept the challenge to take home your litter and garbage, thus allowing limited maintenance funds to be utilized for other maintenance chores.

Reservations
Olympic National Forest has one group campground (Rainbow Campground) that is available by reservation only. Click here for reservation information. All other campgrounds on Olympic National Forest are available only on a first-come, first-serve basis.
