Williams Creek Trail 407 |

Access: From Twisp travel west on to Okanogan County Road 9114 for 11 miles, until it joins Forest Service Road 44. Turn left on FS Road 44 for 3.5 miles and then 4 miles on FS Road 4430 to the Williams Creek Trailhead. Route Description: The trail climbs moderately to a wilderness lake through forest. It then travels across shale and talus slopes and through an old burned area. Trail ends at the lake. Highlights: Fishing at the lake. Specific Hazards/Difficulties: Limited grazing. There are areas along the lakeshore closed for regeneration. Please tie stock 200' or further from the lake shore and let these areas recover. |
