Peepsight Trail 525

 

Access: Northern Terminus: Andrews Creek Trail 504 at Andrews Pass. Southern Terminus: Andrews Creek Trail 504 about 8.5 miles north of the Andrews Creek Trailhead.

Route Description: Trail follows Peepsight Creek in timber to head of the drainage near Peepsight Mountain, climbs to Crazy Man Pass, passes tiny Rock Lake and rejoins the Andrews Creek Trail at Andrews Pass.

Highlights: There is a short side trail at the head of the drainage that leads up over the pass to Peepsight Lake (fishing). Good views from the pass and upper drainage.

Specific Hazards/Difficulties: The trail between upper Peepsight Creek and Rock Lake is very difficult to follow and generally not passable to stock. Tread is faint to nonexistent. The pass on the side trail to Peepsight Lake usually melts out late in the season.
