Black Pine Trail 441

 

Access: From Twisp, take Okanogan County Road 9114 west about 10.6 miles; turn left on to Forest Service Road  43. Stay to left on FS Road 43 until the pavement ends (about 3 miles). Drive another 2.5 miles staying left. After entering the campground the trailhead is located in the day use area.

Route Description: An easy, wide, mostly level paved trail along the lakeshore. Benches provide resting areas with interpretive signs along the way.

Highlights: Great mountain views, wildlife watching, fishing, and swimming.

Length: 0.4 miles /0.64 km.

Season: Mid-May - mid-October.

Restrictions: No motorized or horse use.
