Douglas Fir Campground is located along the Mt. Baker Highway (State Route 542) approximately 2 miles east of the town of Glacier near milepost 36. The campground is situated along the North Fork Nooksack River and has 29 tent/trailer sites of which 18 can be reserved. The remainder is available on a first-come-first-served basis. A historic day-use picnic shelter is also reservable. The campground has 9 wheelchair accessible sites. There are vault toilets, water and garbage bins. A short trail, Horseshoe Bend, is located within easy walking distance from the campground.

Horseshoe Cove Campground is located along the Baker Lake Road (Forest Service Road #11 / 1118) approximately 17.1 miles from State Route 20. The campground is situated on the western shore of Baker Lake and has 35 tent/trailer sites of which 26 can be reserved. The remainder is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Three of the sites are wheelchair accessible. In addition, there are 3 reservable group sites (1-25 people each). A boat ramp and swimming area are within the campground. There are flush and vault toilets, water, cold water shower and garbage bins.

Mineral Park Creek Campground is located along the Cascade River Road (Forest Service Road #15) east of the town of Marblemount approximately 15 miles from State Route 20. The campground is situated near the confluence of the North and South Forks of the Cascade River. The Campground is divided into two sections, Mineral Park East has 7 tent/trailer sites and one picnic site of which 5 can be reserved and Mineral Park West has 14 tent/trailer sites of which 7 can be reserved . The remainder is available on a first-come-first-served basis. There are vault toilets and garbage bins. Bring your own water.

Located 13 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center, Beaver Creek campground is a popular group camp, situated along the south fork Stillaguamish River with a view of Big Four Mountain. The area is fairly flat making it an excellent site for small children. This campground can accommodate up to 25 people. In addition to fishing, there are opportunities nearby for hiking and bicycling. There are tables, campfire pits and vault toilets.

Bedal

Located 18 miles southeast of Darrington, along the Mountain. Loop Hwy, Bedal campground is a very nice, quiet camp, situated along the Sauk River in old growth forest. Offering a more primitive experience, it is off the main road, away from traffic noise. River noise can be heard from most of the campsites. Popular activities in the area are fishing, hiking, and bicycle riding. Bedal has 22 campsites suitable for tents or trailers, and a large (18 feet by 18 feet) adirondack shelter built of old growth timber. There are tables, campfire pits, and vault toilets. This is a fee site and an extra charge for additional vehicles is required. No piped water available.

Boardman Creek Group

Located 5.8 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center along the Mountain Loop Highway is Boardman Creek Campground. There is a moderate amount of traffic noise but the south fork Stilliguamish River helps mask it. The setting is low, riverside vegetation, predominant in vine maple and alder. The camping experience feels remote at the walk-in sites on the river. Boardman Creek has two campsites suitable for tents or trailers and six sites suitable for tents only. There are tables, campfire pits and vault toilets. No piped water. This is a fee site and an extra charge for additional vehicles is required.

Clear Creek

Clear Creek campground is located near the Sauk River and only 3.5 miles south from the town of Darrington along the Mountain Loop Highway. Notable in the area are the stately old fir trees. The under growth is fairly sparse offering a more open communal camping experience. Popular activities in the area include fishing, bicycling and hiking. Nearby is the one-mile long Frog Lake nature trail and the three-mile Old Sauk Trail. Clear Creek has 13 campsites suitable for tents or trailers. There are tables, campfire pits, and vault toilets. This is a fee site and an extra charge for additional vehicles is required. No piped water is available.

Esswine Group Camp is located 5.2 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center. Situated amongst the trees, this campground has sites on both sides of the short road that parallels the Mountain Loop Highway. There is a moderate amount of traffic noise, with the campground lying a short distance from the south fork Stillaguamish River. Gold Basin

Located 2.4 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center, Gold Basin is the largest campground on the Mountain Loop Highway, Gold Basin also offers the most developed and accessible camping experience. This is a fee site and an extra charge for additional vehicles is required. In addition to its 83 campsites suitable for both tents and trailers, Gold Basin also has 10 sites for tents only, and some sites accessible to wheelchairs. Available in the camping area are tables, campfire pits, drinking water, vault toilets, garbage pickup and paved roads. There is a large, open field suitable for frisbee throwing and baseball play. A new flush restroom and shower buildings are available. Across the road from the campground is Gold Basin Pond, a salmon fry viewing area. The 1/2-mile boardwalk is accessible to wheelchairs, and benches are provided on the viewing platforms for the more contemplative visitor to sit awhile.

Marten Creek campground is located 9.2 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center along the Mountain Loop Highway, with sites located on a bench above the south fork Stillaguamish River. Nestled amongst the trees, this campground has excellent tent sites and can accommodate up to 25 people. Not recommended for people with small children as the bank down to the river is quite steep. There are tables, campfire pits and vault toilets available. Popular activities in the area include fishing, bicycling and hiking.

A river bar, close by, offers opportunities for riverside activities. Red Bridge has 16 campsites suitable for tents or trailers. It has tables, campfire pits and vault toilets. No piped water. Verlot campground, also located across the Mt Loop Highway from the Verlot Public Service Center, is much sunnier than its camping neighbor Turlo. The tree canopy is more open allowing more sunlight to hit the ground. Although just off the Mountain Loop Highway, Verlot is a relatively quiet camp, and its close proximity to the south fork Stillaguamish River allows easy fishing access. Verlot has 26 campsites suitable for tents or trailers. Available in the camping area are tables, campfire pits, flush toilets, drinking water and garbage pickup. This is a fee site and an extra charge for additional vehicles is required.

Wiley Creek is located 4 miles east of Verlot Public Service Center. Situated in an old growth forest setting, with giant Douglas fir, this campground is quite popular with youth groups and organizations. The south fork Stillaguamish River lies a short distance from the campground. There are 4 shelters along with tables, campfire pits and vault toilets. Wiley Creek accommodates up to 100 people with a combination of trailer and tent spaces. Wiley Creek Group Campground provides 2 separate group sites. Fishing, hiking and bicycling are a few of the fun activities in the area.

Restrooms and garbage service are provided. Drinking water source is from hand pump, a bit of a challenge to use. Firewood may be available for sale. Dogs must be leashed. Good jumpoff point for recreational activities in the North Fork Skykomish and West Fork Foss River areas.

This group campsite’s secluded location offers a more primitive feel to your camping experience in this shaded, quiet location on the banks of Miller River. The campground will accommodate up to 100 maximum capacity. Drinking water source is from hand pump, a bit of a challenge to use. Garbage service is provided. Dogs must be leashed. Good jumpoff point for recreational activities in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness via the Dorothy Lake Trailhead #1072, six miles south on Miller River Road (FS Road #6410).

Located 17 miles east of North Bend at the junction of the South Fork Snoqualmie River and Denny Creek, this campground has 33 tent or trailer sites, including barrier-free sites and 10 sites on the river. Allowable trailer length is 35 feet, with a few suitable for up to 40 feet. There is one group site with a maximum capacity of 35-40 people. At each site there are picnic tables and fire pits. Some sites have electricity. There are flush toilets, water faucets, and garbage bins. Several hiking trails are within walking distance.

Middle Fork

This campground has 38 tent or trailer sites, 20 of which are reservable. Larger motor homes will not fit in any of the sites, although the smaller motor homes would be fine. There are four hike-in sites. No power or RV dump available at this campground. At each site there are picnic tables and fire pits. All sites have wheelchair access. There are vault toilets, hand pumps for water, and garbage bins. There are trails accessible from the campground.

Located 26 miles east of Enumclaw on State Highway 410 and 7 miles west of Mt. Rainier National Park (North Arch), this campground has 19 tent only and 26 tent or trailer sites of which 26 are reservable. The rest are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Fireplaces, tables, drinking water, vault toilets and garbage pickup are all provided, as well as a shelter at the picnic area. There is no fee for day use. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground hosts. Fishing and hiking are also available here. This area borders the White River and sits amid a grove of old growth trees. The facilities include picnic tables, fire grills, vault toilets and drinking water. The John Muir Nature Trail is nearby. This is a barrier free trail open to wheelchairs. A feature attraction is a huge old Douglas fir that is more than nine feet in diameter and 235 feet tall.

Located 32 miles east of Enumclaw on State Highway 410 and 1 miles west of Mt. Rainier National Park (North Arch), this campground has 16 tent only and 40 tent or trailer sites of which 33 are reservable. The rest are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Fireplaces, tables, drinking water, vault toilets and garbage pickup are all provided, as well as a shelter at the picnic area. There is no fee for day use. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground hosts. Fishing and hiking are also available here. Located within the Silver Springs Campground 32 miles east of Enumclaw on Hwy. 410, the picnic area is in a beautiful section of old growth forest, bordering the White River just outside the North Arch entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The facilities include picnic tables, fire grills, vault and flush toilets and drinking water. The White River is nearby for fishing and there is a natural spring flowing through the center of the campground.
