Errata:
August 04, 2006
(...also known as items we found after we sent the document to print…)
Appendix P: Summary of Herbicide Effects - removed the page hogging “DRAFT” off the middle of the page and moved it up to the header zone; which cut the size of the document down by about 700K from 2Megs to 1.3 Megs. (1/19/06)
In the Glossary:
The
correct number for the Executive Order for Invasive Species is:
13112 NOT 13122.
This catch and change
thanks to an eagle eye on the East side Oregon.
..the Executive Order number problem is also found in:
Summary 1-1,
Page 3-1 (terminology box)
Page 4-5 (3rd paragraph)
Chapter 4.2.2. Background
Page 4-6 (first full paragraph)
…when the error was
found in the ROD we went *..huh.* and realized *cutting and pasting* was somewhat
hazardous for controlling errors…we take solace in that we were consistent in
our error and didn’t introduce another number.
On page 3-2
Chapter 3.1.1 Current Extent of Invasion
Third paragraph… (count 14 lines down from top line)
The spread acreage should be 42,000 acres per year NOT 4,200 (the math supports the correct acreage)
This typo catch thanks to a meeting skim…..
The Glossary:
We seemed to have completed omitted any formal citation in reference to the NWFP FEIS or ROD or anything in our IP FEIS. Except for the mysterious usda, usdi 1994a (which indeed must be the NWFP FEIS). Thanks for noticing the error, the WIPPIT documents DO include the proper reference:
USDA Forest Service; USDI Bureau of Land Management.1994a. Final Environmental Impact Statement for Amendments to Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management Planning Documents within the Range of the Northern Spotted Owl and Standards and Guidelines for Management of Habitat for Late-Successional and Old-Growth Forest Related Species Within the Range of the Northern Spotted Owl. Washington, D.C.: U.S. Government Printing Office.
This "somewhat glaring" omission caught by forest personnel..
