The Pacific Northwest Region is focusing watershed restoration funding in the most important actions in areas with high resource value. Within each individual 'focus watershed', analysis identifies critical actions necessary to repair proper function. These frequently include a suite of complimentary activities such as road drainage or removal, fish passage, improvement riparian planting or in-channel work. Cooperating with many partners, these are applied across ownerships, ridge-top to valley bottom, headwaters to mouth.
