Driving Directions: To Pike's Crossing from Paisley Ranger District Office: Go 12 miles north of Paisley, turn left on Forest Road 29 "Government Harvey Road". Go 10 miles to jct. with Forest Road 2901 and Summer Lake viewpoint, stay on Road 29 for 2 more miles. At paved "T" jct. with Forest Road 28, stay to the right. Go 3.6 miles to jct. with Forest Road 30, stay left at paved "Y" intersection. Three miles on Forest Road 30 to turnoff marked "Pike's Crossing Recreation Area", ½ mile to campsites along River.

Driving Directions: From highway 31: turn on Mill Street. Mill Street becomes Forest Road 33 at the "Y" junction. Road 33 is also known as the "River road".

Deep Creek

Deep Creek Deep Creek is located in a large ponderosa pine and cottonwood setting.

Driving Directions: From Lakeview Ranger District Office: Go 3 miles north on Highway 395, and turn right on Highway 140. Take Highway 140 east for 8 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 3615. Go ½ mile and turn right on old highway 140. Continue west for 1.4 miles then turn left onto Forest Road 3915. Go on Forest Road 3915 for 15 miles.

Driving Directions: From Silver Lake: Go south on County Road 4-12 for 6 miles. At the 6 mile point, the road turns into Forest Road 28. Stay on Road 28 for about 1 mile to Road 2917, turn right and go west for 1 mile.

Driving Directions: To Sandhill Crossing from Bly: Head east on Highway 140 for ½ mile. Turn left on the Campbell Road and go 5 ½ miles to Forest Road 3411. Travel on 3411 for about 17 miles.

Driving Directions: From Lakeview: Take Highway 140 West 3 miles, then turn right onto County Road 2-16. Go on County Road 2-16 for 5 miles. Turn left onto County Road 2-16A and within 2 miles, you will be on Forest Road 28. Follow Forest Road 28 for 19 miles.
