This is a popular fly-fishing only lake in a setting of forested mountains. There is a primitive boat launch on the south end. While at the lake you can enjoy fishing, camping, canoeing and to view the cutthroat spawning run in the spring.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

8.5 miles northeast from Cusick and 24 miles from Newport. This lake can be found approximately 72 miles Northeast of Spokane by taking County Road 9325. The Colville National Forest Supervisor’s Office is a source for National Forest maps and other recreational information on the Colville National Forest. 765 South Main, Colville, Washington, 99114.

FISHING LICENSE

A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest. Licenses are sold at sporting good and other retail stores. For information on fishing times & limits a current state fishing regulation guide is generally available free at these same locations.
