This is a relatively large lake in a mountainous setting of well timbered hills. The water is of extreme clarity. The west side of the lake is predominately residential. Often used for fishing, hiking, canoeing, and boating.

Lake Trout, Ling cod, Kokanee, Peamouth, Northern pike-minnow, Large-scale sucker, and Largemouth Bass

Bead Lake lies just 47 miles North from Spokane and 8 miles Northwest from Newport. The Colville National Forest Supervisor’s Office is a source for National Forest maps and other recreational information on the Colville National Forest. 765 South Main, Colville, Washington, 99114.

FISHING LICENSE

A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest. Licenses are sold at sporting good and other retail stores. For information on fishing times & limits a current state fishing regulation guide is generally available free at these same locations.
