Description:	Only one western white pine (Pinus monticola) seedling family with survivors (of 8 families in this box) four years after 2002 inoculation with white pine blister rust. These seedlings are from open-pollinated seed collections from a parent tree on the Colville National Forest and has repeatedly shown relatively high resistance in blister rust resistance screening. Note the multiple stem infections that appear to be inactive on the seedlings.
