January 2001 photos showing stages of Pinus lambertiana (sugar pine) grafting at Dorena TIC. Selections are made following screening for blister rust resistance. Individuals demonstrating resistance are grafted for inclusion in seed orchards to yield genetically diverse and disease resistant seedlings.
