Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.

The Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) is an activity tracking system for all levels of the Forest Service. It supports timber sales in conjunction with TIM Contracts and Permits; tracks and monitors NEPA decisions; tracks KV trust fund plans at the timber sale level, reporting at the National level; and, it generates National, Regional, Forest, and/or District Reports.

Dataset created as per instructions in FACTS 1.1 - GIS Data Manager's Guide. Data obtained from District Activity, TSI, Reforestation, and Fuels (Natural & RX) coverages. Not all Districts had TSI, Reforestation, Fuels coverages.
P.O. Box 907
Coverage reprojected from NAD 27 to Albers 83
Metadata imported. Original Metadata imported from Malheur NF and then updated for current information.
Three fields were added to the rat table in order for GI visualizations to work with this coverage. Fields added were objectid, globalid and stage. the stage field was calculated with the number 3 which detemines that the record is an accomplished activity versus NEPA or Layout. This numbering system follows the proposed Data Dictionary for FACTS in a geodatabase.
Metadata imported.
SUID numbers were corrected for Hells Canyon and Eagle Cap. The district numbers within the SUID were all originally for WMO district. The new numbers reflect the correct district number and now should link with FACTS dtabase.
