Forest polygons where created from legal descriptions using headup digitizing and the PLS and ortho as reference. These completed polygons where then sent to the washington office via the RO in Portland to be incorporated into the national Roadless EIS of 2000. The EIS washington office then issued a shapefile coverage in Geographic projection showing the offical locations of the roadless areas. These polygons were adjusted for reasons unknown. Some lines were moved and some roadless area names were changed. The shape file was converted to a coverage and reprojected to the local projection
