Abstract:
Administrative Forest - A feature class depicting the boundary encompassing all the National Forest System (NFS) lands administered by the Administrative Unit. The boundary encompasses private lands, other governmental agency lands, and may contain NFS lands within the proclaimed boundaries of another Administrative Unit. All NFS lands fall within one, and only one, Administrative National Forest Boundary. |

A small private parcel was added in T09S R39E Section 18. Parcel was verified by the Land Staus records in the WAW SO and was heads up digitized.This was also added to the "own" coverage.

Due to updates in Basic_Ownership, updates were then needed in the Administrative_Forest and Ranger_District poly and line feature classes. Updates include 2 parcels that are patented mines. Ownership was changed from FS to P. These parcels are in T10S R39E sections 3 and 4. This is on the WAW NF In T19S R32E sections 23 and 24 a small piece of land was changed from P to FS ownership. This is on the MAL NF. Overlapping polygons were fixed in the ownership feature class. Original overlap had P and S. Ownership was changed to S. No Town/Rang was available for that area (off forest). Lat = 46 0608.84492. Long = -116 5957.35202 Overlapping polygons were fixed previously showing P and E and changed to E. T5N R43E Section 19 NW of SE.

Recreated this complete feature class by dissolving the on the LSA field in the Basic_Ownership feature class of the Lands Geodatabase and did not create multipart shapes. All features are single part. Added required fields and populated the fields by recalulating the fields based on existing values in the LSA field. Joined the Admin forest values to INFRA land units table and populated with the current CN.

Chief Joseph Gravesite on the north end of Wallowa Lake was attributed as Wallowa Whitman NF ownership and admin. The National Park service owns this parcel and it is administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The polygon was deleted from the Administrative dataset.
