Abstract:

Riparian habitat conservation areas on the Malheur National Forest, including the Snow Mountain district

Purpose:

Display and analysis of properly buffered riparian areas for the Malheur forest plan, plus the Snow Mountain RHCA's for completeness, although these are not included in the Malheur forest plan. Category 4 streams in Pacfish and Infish key watersheds are buffered to 300 feet; other category 4 streams are buffered to 150 feet (see under Cross Reference for the key watersheds)
