Title: Plans - Land Management Planning Designations
Abstract:
This is the planning coverage for the Forest. It is a regions coverage with three subclasses: MA, NFP, OWN. This layer was created by combining and editing the MA and OPT9MANEW (option 9 of the Northwest Forest Plan) coverages. Boundaries of MAs have been updated.
Supplemental_Information:
This layer should be updated only when there are changes in Forest ownership, changes in Management areas (usually due to a Plan revision or amendment), or changes in the Northwest Forest Plan allocations. All changes must be approved by Strategic Planning and Analysis. Land status boundaries are accurate, but some management area and NFP plan allocations were crudely delineated to begin with.
