Abstract:

The LandMgmtPlanPolygon feature class contains polygon corporate data which depicts Forest Plan land management allocations as well as the Northwest Forest Plan (NWFP) allocations. This feature class is a product of the Pacific Northwest Region Coverage to Geodatabase Conversion Project in an effort to standardize data throughout the Region. The Siskiyou National Forest is composed of fourteen management areas; each one having different management goals, resource potential and limitations. The concept behind building a single management area layer is to combine these layers based on these restrictions, the more restrictive management areas would override less restrictive areas.

Purpose:

Corporate data contained within the LandMgmtPlanPolygon feature class is intended for spatial display and analysis purposes.
