Abstract:

The cf_pt feature class depicts constructed features that are too small to be represented as polygons at 1:24,000 such as barrier, building, bridge, cattleguard, communication_system, culvert, dam, drainage_str/crossing, equestrian_ohv, erosion_control_device, fire_device, gate, handling_facility, interpretive_equipment, misc_recreation, misc_transportation, parking facility, planting, play_equipment, power_system, recording_site, sanitation, sign, table, traffic_control_device, trail_bridge, trail_structure, trailway, wastewater_system, water_system, watercraft_swim, winter_sports_facility. This feature class meets USDA Forest Service National GIS Data Dictionary Standards.

Purpose:

Corporate data contained within the cf_pt feature class is intended for spatial display and analysis purposes. This feature class includes constructed and non constructed features that support management needs and mapping. Infra distinguishes a number of categories, which are represented as Subtypes within each feature class. Valid category codes are listed in the I-Web database.
