The maps and photos utilized were at various scales and dates of publication, scales range from 1chain to the inch to 1:62,500 (USGS Quads), and publication dates from 1892 to 1990. The land ownership boundaries have not been integrated with the land ownership lines in the Forest's Cartographic Feature Files, the digital files that represent features on the PBS quad maps.
As land exchanges occur, this theme is updated to reflect lands acquired and lands exchanged to other owners. In general, the currency of the polygons may be questionable since the land exchange process is dynamic.
