|
Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.
genetic trees on the Malheur National Forest
To identify genetic trees for silviculture
This coverage is the merge of Malheur and Snow Mountain data. SM trees lack an accession number, and include some in the old Burns district. Those from the SM district contain the forest identifier '07'. Silviculture will have to decide if and how to change this. Links to Oracle table FSDBA.GENE_DESCRIPT via wholetreenr or accession.

Conformed it to DD. 2 points had 12 chara #s(122040666041 and 119041446634). Corrected them so all have 11 chara.

changed 100 tree locations on PCRD to GPS'd locations at the request of Alicia Bowler.
P.O. Box 337
added tree locations, deleted duplicate tree numbers and corrected information for existing trees on PCRD
corrected some PCRD trees to GPS locations

P.O. Box 909
Merged Snow Mountain district select_tree coverage with Malheur's gen coverage. Added Malheur attributes to SM layer. Copied SM tree_number to Mal wholetreenr. Converted tree_sp and treenr from integer to character, and added leading zeros to numbers < 100. Parsed tree_number into its constituent parts (tree_sp, bzone, treenr) by using a substring. SM also incudes trees on the old Burns district. SM lacks an accession number.
Reprojected to Region 6 Albers NAD83 projection
Changed the tolerances on all coverages to the malheur/bmprov default tolerances (most coverages didn't have them set:) fuzzy - .000123 dangle - 0 edit - 10.0 nodesnap - 2.0 weed - .02 grain - .02 snap - 2.0 Ran the aml &r comloop * cover &r tol ^
