Abstract:
This data set is the stand fire coverage created from INFORMS and Most Similar Neighbor imputations for the Malheur National Forest and is based on 2003 Landsat 5 scene. It created various fire attributes for all forest and non_forest attributes. Fire regime condition class is included but only for forested polygons. |

Note this data set for Fire Regime is based on plant associations for the Blue Mtns and were assigned by area ecologist. However the condition class is not calculated per instructions in FRCC.gov Use at your own risk.

created by Ed Uebler using Most Similar Neighbor analysis Assigns inventory data to stands that have no inventory data by comparing reflective signatures of the polygons from Landsat Imagery and finding the most similar neighbor. The Coverage contains a bunch of information used to derive the FRCC The infomation comes from the Fuels anaylsis tools in INFORMS. Last 2 attribute columns: ECOMSNFV, call of condition class based on MSN analysis only. ECOPIMSN, call of condition class based on mixture of MSN and PI interpretation.
