Metadata elements shown with blue text are defined in the Federal Geographic Data Committee's (FGDC) Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM). Elements shown with green text are defined in the ESRI Profile of the CSDGM. Elements shown with a green asterisk (*) will be automatically updated by ArcCatalog. ArcCatalog adds hints indicating which FGDC elements are mandatory; these are shown with gray text.

Photo Interpretation Contract
Final version compiled by Ed Uebler from 8 blocks submitted by contractor

redrawing some polygons in the vicinity of easy Fire because during the MSN process some of the polygons did not match the 2001 landsat scene where polygons were clearcut. Polygons included non cut areas of adjacent stands. This polygons were clearcut after the 94 DOQ so the contractor drew then as best they could. I used the 2001 DOQ .bill to make them match. and checked against the landsat scene. There is no change in the number of polygons or numbers. There are still 82262 Polygons and there is a match one for one to the PI data in FSVEG.

P.O. Box 909
This new coverage has updated polygons due to monument, highroberts and flagtail fires. I will do easy fire once I get the new imagery this summer. Please archive the current evg coverage in the archive probably best to label evg2001 becasue that way it will be able to link to all the data in FSVEG that was photo interpreted. Since I used new unique numbers for the redelinieation of the fires the cover will only link to the polygons I did not edit. So 4751 polygons will have no current veg data from photinterpretation at this time. The only way is to populate it with INFORMS and a MSN run until I get time to do the photinterp work.
Added updates from Ed Uebler
This update now has 85805 polygons of which approximately 5000 have no photo interpretation data available at this time in FSVEG which include High Roberts, Monument and Flagtail Fires and a portion of Summit Fire areas The changes this time were primarily in Coyote/Balance Creek Subwatershed in the Summit fire in preparation to place stand exams in the area of the old summit fire. The deliniations were done from the NAIP 2005 Grant County Color Mosaics.
Reprojected to Region 6 Albers NAD83 projection
Made a new reprojection to Albers 83 following discovery of errors in the first one, and added some missing areas that were not delineated near the border with the Umatilla.

Updates from Ed Uebler. This correction fixed polygons in the Whiting Springs fire area of 1989. Discrepancies of what is capable forest land and what is non-forest has been corrected at least corrected to the point of what can be done from past photos and 2005 NAIP. Probably further refinement when Devine Canyon Project is done.

Updated with changes to the Egley fire area
Updates in Calamity fire area, Elk and Reynolds Creek drainages
updates polygons in the Shake table fire area. Also eliminates any polygon under a 1/4 acre and merges with closest neighboring polygon.
The changes fixed polygons for eventual incorporation into fsveg spatial. changes were requested by John Varner with FSVEG staff .
